United States Olympic Committee
At Blue State Digital, I helped develop the social media strategy and create content for the USOC's social channels; this included fundraising efforts, community management, and the promotion of Team USA Olympians, past, present and future.
While the summer of 2014 was the deepest lull between Summer Olympics, the World Cup in Brazil provided the perfect opportunity to build enthusiasm for Team USA. Leading up to U.S. Men's Soccer Team matches, we asked fans to show us their #USAGoalFace. During, we watched and posted from our conference room-turned-social media war room. And throughout, we cheered the USMNT as it made its momentous run to the Round of 16. Read more about the moment here.
At the halfway mark between the London and Rio Summer Games, we used social media to highlight Team USA athletes; for them, the Olympics aren't just two weeks every four years, they're every day.
A lighter campaign I created to interact with our community during the dog days of summer. We got to see the everyday activities being enjoyed around the country and share how regular Americans spend their weekends.
